Frank Furbush got involved with acting by watching Snazz ‘n Guffaw, an
improv group in New Haven, CT. After many weeks of being in the
audience, he was invited on stage, then invited to play with another
group, SKITS, in the Stony Island Puppet Theater.
After moving to Henderson, KY, to take a job teaching Anatomy and
Physiology at Henderson Community College, he started to audition for
plays with Henderson Community Theater in the Henderson Fine Arts
Center. He has since enjoyed being in plays such as Ten Little Indians,
The Curse of Frankenstein, Taming of the Shrew, Dancing at Laughnesa,
Once Upon a Mattress, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Play it Again, Sam and
Amadeus. He was also lucky enough to direct a few one act plays from All
in the Timing.
Frank is still teaching A & P at Henderson Community College. As an
actor, he makes a pretty good college professor.
