At the time this movie was filmed, Ashley headed up a local arts organization. Now, she’s assumed a respectable position as the manager of marketing and public relations for Methodist Hospital and hopes to still have a job after this movie shatters her conservative work persona.
Working on this film was a blast. I enjoyed helping Lewis identify, scout, and acquire various locations and props and being able to take my pathetic sewing skills to the next level when I had to reconstruct a shredded dress for a scene we forgot to shoot, which was unfortunately later cut out of the movie. It was also great to work with so many friends from the world of community theater in a new setting. It was quite a leap for me to go from tap dancing angel in “Anything Goes” to sarcastic, best friend Alissa in this movie.
With an almost five-year-old son, an almost complete Master’s degree in Communications, a full time job, and a hot boyfriend to juggle, my acting has taken a bit of a backseat. Hopefully, that will change after graduation in May!!!
